Take advantage of one of the unique winter activities in Whistler and enjoy the thrill of a snowmobile ride through the pristine backcountry. Whistler’s diverse terrain allows The Adventure Group to boast a reputation of having some of the most incredible snowmobile tours in the world. Our snowmobile adventures range from gentle family cruising to advanced backcountry powder riding. The potential for free-ride time during any one of our three hour tours will allow you to ride wide open areas at your leisure.

What to bring

Dress as if you were going skiing including warm layers. If you require any extra outerwear, including boots, we will provide it for you at no extra cost
Helmets will be provided

Tips

Be prepared for some amazing photo opportunities. If you forget your camera, photographers will be on site and photos may be purchased after your tour
Wear warm layers - you can always shed clothing if you get too hot
Don't worry if you've never riden a snowmobile before, just listen to your guide and they will teach you all the tricks of the trade!

FAQ

Tours will run in all weather conditions unless it is unsafe to do so
Shuttle transportation is provided from Whistler Village, Fairmont Chateau & Four Seasons offices (please indicate pick-up location when booking)
Waivers must be signed prior to tour
Snowmobiles are automatic. A quick guide tutorial will answer any lingering questions surrounding vehicle operation
You must be a minimum of 16 years, possess a valid driver’s license and have a parent/guardian to sign your waiver before driving a snowmobile
Can I bring my own helmet? No, our helmets are D.O.T. certified and are inspected and replaced regularly
Is lunch included? All of our 3 hour Whistler snowmobile tours include a light lunch
Am I insured? The mandatory collision coverage that is charged at the rate of $18 per driver covers only damage done to the actual machines. Personal insurance is not provided by our company to our participants
